Welcome to my homepage. I am Clarence Feldmann, born in New York on January 14th 1867. In Fürth in Germany I visited both the primary and secondary school. There after I studied Electrical Engineering in Darmstadt. In 1905 I was appointed as professor in Electrical Power Systems at the Delft University of Technology. Since that time, I took actively part in the design and construction of the transmission and distribution grid in the Netherlands. After my retirement I started with this website in order to make knowledge about Electrical Power Engineering accessible for power engineering colleagues.
Professor Feldmann's lectures on electricity
Electric and magnetic fields and many other interesting topics in the field of electrical engineering
High-Voltage Direct Current Transmission
For bulk transmission of power over long distances DC can be more advantageous
